Introduction

I am currently a first year Ph.D student in the Software Composition and Modeling Lab of Department of Computer and Infomation Sciences at University of Alabama at Birmingham.

My advisor is Dr. Jeff Gray.

Prior to coming to UAB, I got my BS degree in computer science from Zhengzhou University, China on June 2007.

I come from Xinxiang City, Henan Province. It is in the middle of China, and very close to the Yellow River.

Research Interests

In general, my research interests lie in Software Engineering and Programming Language.

My specific interests include:

Model-Driven Engineering (MDE)
Domain-Specific Modeling (DSM)
Aspect-Oriented Programming (AOP)

Personal

Tiffany (Ziwei) Wang is my girlfriend. We were high school classmates. She is now doing her undergraduate study majored in psychology in UC Berkeley. Although we are in different places - UAB & UCB, it is much much closer than China & US in the past four years.

Soccer is my favorite sports. Inter Milan and Henan Jianye are my teams. Besides, I like playing PC games. Counter-Strike, Age of Empire, and FIFA are my favorites.
