We stayed at the Europaischer Hof, which is strategically placed between the Casino/Park and the old part of the city. Here are a few images which either look at the hotel, or are taken from inside the hotel looking out.
The Europaischer Hof is situated directly on the Oos river.
The Europaischer Hof consists of two parts, joined by a 3-story bridge which creates an arch for automobile traffic (and some parking). The back side faces the commercial/tourist section of town; the front side faces the Park, the Casino, and the Trinkehalle.

A small street follows the Oos River. That street is closed to auto traffic at the Europaischer. There's a cab stand, and an entrance to an underground parking garage under the Park. The result is a very pedestrian friendly area.

The facade facing the Casino is full of pleasant balconies. We had stunning views both day and night. Royalty and High Society have been coming to Baden-Baden both to take the waters and leave their fortunes. Here, we see both operations in action:

The Trinkehalle is not a beer joint. It's now the Tourist Office, where you can still get a drink of the famous water. The water is free, but the cups are "for sale in the gift shop".

Finally, here's a view from a stairway inside the hotel. You are looking over the bridge joining the two halves of the Europaischer Hof to the rooftops of the old part of town.
