In early September 2003, Christine and I visited Baden-Baden. Here are a few pictures from that trip.
The first day was devoted to walking about, working out the kinks after a very long travel day (and night). Neither our bodies, nor my camera, knew what time it was.
We began by discovering that there was a festival in progress, and that there was a performance of the Baden-Baden Philharmonie that afternoon (actually, there was a performance every afternoon.)
But first, food.

And then it was time to admire the view from our hotel window. The Casino was jumping, but this had been a very long travel day.

I dropped Christine at the conference, and set off to explore beautiful downtown Baden-Baden.
