The Montevallo Community Band is an amateur wind ensemble serving the Montevallo community. Membership is open to adult musicians and to high school juniors and seniors with the recommendation of their Band Director.
The MCB is conducted by Martin Cochran, Assistant Professor of Instrumental Music Education and Low Brass at the University of Montevallo. Rehearsals are generally on Thursday evenings from 7:00-8:30pm (but see the detailed rehearsal schedule.) Most rehearsals are in the UM Band Room.
