On November 20th, students and teachers from Ft. Payne High School visited the UAB CIS Department for a three-hour field trip. Students heard presentations about computational thinking and Alice (Dr. Jeff Gray), Computer Chess (Dr. Bob Hyatt), and CyberCrime (Mr. Gary Warner). The students and teachers were also give a tour of the department (Mr. Fran Fabrizio and Mr. Thom Savage). The Ft. Payne trip was coordinated with Mrs. Lee Freeman and Mr.Joey Haymon from Ft. Payne.
