March 19-21, 2007 – SouthEast CyberCrime Summit – gave same presentation twice, Monday and Wednesday – each day with “live” examples from that morning – “PIRT: A Year of Fighting Phish”  (Kennesaw, GA)

 

March 13-15, 2007 – Birmingham Conference on Phishing – shared six presentations and lead two hands-on labs for 25 FBI, Secret Service, and local law enforcement attendees.  Sessions with Hands-on Labs:  “WHOIS (Attacking Me?)” / “Domain Names, Registrars, and Name Servers”  Sessions w/o Labs:  “Phishing: It All Starts With the Spam” / “Torpig” / “PIRT: Volunteers vs Phishers” / “Phish Kits: A Look at the Criminal’s Tools”
