Ph.D. Candidate Enis Afgan Wins Award at MCBIOS 2009

Enis Afgan, a Ph.D. candidate in the Collaborative Computing Lab at UAB Computer and Information Sciences department, won an award for best oral presentation at MidSouth Computational Biology and Bioinformatics Society Conference (MCBIOS 2009) in Starkville, MS for his talk titled: "A framework for efficient execution of bioinformatics applications across the grid".
