CIS Members Attend Alice 3 Beta Testers Workshop

UAB CIS has been invited as one of a handful of international beta testers for the new Alice 3. On January 5-6, 2009, three CIS members (Dixon Shuttleworth, David O'Gwynn, and Jeff Gray) visited Carnegie Mellon University to interact with the Alice 3 team in preparation to assist with the beta testing effort.

Portions of Alice 3 will be used at UAB in future summer camps and offerings of CS 105.

Wanda Dann, the Director of the Alice project, has been announced as a keynote speaker for the 2009 UAB Alice Film Festival.
