
Doctoral Student Chosen for 2008 IPDPS Ph.D. Forum

International Parallel & Distributed Processing Symposium (IPDPS) is IEEE's flagship conference in parallel computation. The PhD Forum offers an opportunity for graduate students to present a poster describing their proposed and/or partially completed dissertation work to a broad audience.
Enis Afgan a Ph.D. student in CCL lab was selected as one of the 34 accepted submissions (from the total of 76 submissions) and will be presenting his work on grid job scheduling. In addition, he received a $500 travel award to attend the conference, which is awarded only to top submissions.
