Graduate Team Wins CIS Jeopardy Showdown

On February 29th, the UAB ACM and the CIS department hosted CIS Jeopardy. This event is a game show style contest in which three teams of students and faculty compete against each other by answering computer science trivia questions. This year the participants formed a faculty team, a graduate team, and a hybrid faculty/graduate team:

•       Faculty:  Dr.  Barrett Bryant - Dr. Tony Skjellum
•       Hybrid:  Dr. Marjan Mernik - Saraswathi Mukkai
•       Graduate:  Brad Wardman - Matthew Curry

The faculty team jumped out to an early lead in points, but the graduate team had an outstanding final round to pull ahead and take the win in exciting fashion.
