Soccer, the world's favorite sport. I love it.

I've been playing for about 9 years now, from 1st grade onward. I actually hated soccer at first, but once I realized there was so much more than just running at the ball and kicking it, I fell in love. I've gone to B'ham-Southern Soccer camp 8 years in a row. I'm likely not going to make a career out of soccer, but I'll certainly try to keep playing as far as college

I've played literally every position on the field for some period of time or another, but I excel at right wing, striker, or goalkeeper. I got my start at fullback, but as my shooting got better over the years, I moved up to attacking positions. I can't even remember how I got started in goal, but I've been going to the keeper camp at B'ham-Southern since then, and I've gotten pretty good. If nothing else, it's made my offensive play even better; now I know what the keeper most likely can and can't stop. An added perspective is a wonderful thing.

I play for the school team, the Spartans, in the spring, and I play on a rec team in the fall. I played  for the Yaksmen last fall (team motto "We always get our butts kicked") We weren't so bad this year though.
