EDOC 2004 is located in beautiful Monterey, on the central coast of California, 112 miles (181 kilometers) south of San Francisco, and 344 miles (555 kilometers) north of Los Angeles. Both of these cities are served by many international airlines and EDOC attendees with additional time might enjoy the coastal drives between these cities and Monterey, including the Big Sur Coast and Hearst Castle. The latter are also possible by a 1-2 day excursion from Monterey by car.
Travel
Monterey is accessible directly via a limited number of carriers or through larger gateways in San Jose and San Francisco. The Monterey Airbus provides bus service from both airports to downtown Monterey and arrangements can be made in advance for a drop-off directly at the conference hotel. If you fly into Monterey directly, a taxi from the airport to the hotel will cost about $25. |
