This applet displays the current time of some cities around the world and allows you to reset the current local time and GMT to see how the other time zones change accordingly. It also allows you to search a time record by city or country name with several string matching options. The time zone information is based on Local Time Around the World. Daylight Savings Time (DST) in various countries, which usually runs one hour ahead from April through October, is not considered however in this applet. As a result, the time computed in the table may be one hour slower than the actural DST.
All things considered, I thenceforth disclaim any warranty on or liability for the accuracy of the information representated in the applet should this applet be used for any purpose :-(.
A catch: you cannot set a time earlier than January 1, 1970 00:00:00 because it is the time origin of Java Date class used by this application.
